Set up Dprime email on a phone or computer

Collect the exact settings

• Use the complete email address as the username.
• Copy the incoming IMAP hostname and outgoing SMTP hostname shown for your service.
• Use the secure ports and encryption method shown in Enhance. Do not guess them from another provider.
• Confirm SMTP authentication is enabled and uses the same mailbox credentials unless the panel says otherwise.

Add the account

1. Choose Add account and select Other or IMAP when the application asks for a provider.
2. Enter your display name, full email address and mailbox password.
3. Enter the incoming and outgoing hostnames from the panel.
4. Enable SSL or TLS and use the displayed secure ports.
5. Save the account, then send a message to an unrelated address and reply to it.

Fix common connection problems

• Authentication failed: re-enter the full email address and reset the mailbox password if necessary.
• Incoming works but sending fails: verify SMTP authentication, the outgoing hostname and the secure SMTP port.
• Certificate warning: do not accept it automatically. Confirm you used the service hostname, not an unconfigured mail subdomain.
• Repeated password prompts: remove a saved old password from the device credential manager and try again.
