with a clear plan.

A safer route to your new hosting.

Moving a live website is more than copying files. We check access, compatibility, databases, mail requirements and the right time to switch traffic.

Included with an eligible hosting order

One standard website migration

Up to one assessed hour of migration work. Eligibility and scope are confirmed before the transfer begins.

  • Website files and database
  • Configuration check on the new hosting
  • Preview or verification before DNS cutover
  • A coordinated final switch when the site is ready

What happens next.

A practical four-stage process keeps the move understandable and gives both sides a clear point to verify the work.

  1. 1

    Share the current setup

Provide the website address and suitable hosting control panel or FTP/SFTP access. Tell us about email, DNS and any custom application requirements.

  2. 2

    We assess the scope

We confirm compatibility, what is included and whether additional work is required before anything is changed.

  3. 3

    Transfer and verify

We copy the agreed website data, configure it on the new hosting and check the main pages and functions.

  4. 4

    Approve the cutover

You review the migrated website. Once approved, DNS is updated and the old hosting can remain available during propagation where possible.

When the move needs more work.

Additional websites, large stores, custom applications, manual mailbox transfers, repairs and unusual server configurations need a separate assessment.

Prepare these details.

The more complete the information, the easier it is to assess the migration correctly.

Website and hosting access

The current host, control panel or SFTP details, plus administrator access if the application requires it.

Data and application notes

Database details, runtime versions, scheduled tasks, integrations and anything that must keep working after the move.

Email and DNS information

Tell us where email is hosted and who manages DNS. Mailbox migration is separate unless it is explicitly included in the agreed scope.

Clear before we begin.

Availability during the move

We plan the cutover to reduce disruption, but DNS propagation and third-party systems are outside direct control. We do not promise zero downtime.

Repairs and redesign

A migration moves the agreed site. Existing defects, upgrades, redesign, malware cleanup and custom development are separate services.

Email migration

Manual mailbox transfers can take significant time and are assessed separately from a standard website migration.

Final responsibility

Keep the old hosting active until the migrated website and email have been reviewed and the transition is confirmed complete.

Before the move.

Answers to the questions that affect timing and scope.

Is migration free?

One eligible standard website migration, up to one assessed hour, is included with hosting. Additional or complex migration work is $79 per hour after assessment and approval.

Can you move WordPress or WooCommerce?

Yes, subject to access, compatibility and a scope check. Large stores, custom integrations and repairs may require additional work.

Will you move my email too?

Mailbox migration is not automatically included in a standard website transfer. We assess the number, size and source of the mailboxes before quoting.

When should I cancel my old hosting?

Only after the website, email and DNS have been checked and the migration is confirmed complete.

Tell us what needs moving.

We will confirm the hosting fit, migration scope and any additional cost before work starts.
