Create the mailbox
- Open the website or Email area in Enhance.
- Choose Add mailbox and enter the address name before the domain.
- Set a unique password and record it in a password manager.
- Save the mailbox and allow a short time for the service configuration to update.
- Open Webmail from the panel and sign in using the complete email address as the username.
Mailbox, alias or forwarder
- A mailbox stores messages and can send and receive directly.
- An alias delivers another address to an existing mailbox without a separate inbox.
- A forwarder sends incoming mail to another address. Delivery at the destination still depends on that provider's filtering.
- A catch-all receives mail sent to otherwise nonexistent addresses and can attract significant spam.
Confirm email DNS
A mailbox can exist in Enhance while the domain still sends mail elsewhere. Confirm the active DNS zone contains the MX and authentication records supplied for the service before testing delivery.
Important
If the domain uses Cloudflare or external DNS, create the mail records there. Changing them only inside Enhance will not affect an externally hosted authoritative zone.
